This morning we learned of yet another accolade for the acclaimed XC90 premium crossover. Last night, at a media event associated with the upcoming Denver Auto Show, the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP) named the XC90 the winner of its "Crossover of the Year" award...

Ever since the latest Volvo design language was shown off in concept form, we've learned that the best things come in threes. First, it was the Coupe, Estate, and XC Coupe. Now, it's taken the form of the XC90 SUV, the S90 sedan, and at long last, the V90 wagon, which was unveiled in Sweden just today.

Today, Green Car Journal announced that Volvo's world-first seven passenger plug-in hybrid SUV, the XC90 T8 Twin Engine, was the winner of its 2016 "Luxury Green Car of the Year" award.

This morning, we came across some news from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), that has us pretty excited about the future of Volvo and autonomous vehicles.

Ever since its debut, the XC90 has been turning heads of customers and critics alike, with sales exceeding projections by more than 50 percent. This morning we were happy to read that the luxurious SUV was one of only three finalists to make the cut for the North American Truck/Utility of the Year (NACTOY) award.

The NACTOY award is unique, because instead of coming from a single media outlet, it is awarded by an group of 53 independent journalists from the United States and Canada. The award is designed to recognize the best new truck/SUV of the year…
