Ever since its debut, the XC90 has been turning heads of customers and critics alike, with sales exceeding projections by more than 50 percent. This morning we were happy to read that the luxurious SUV was one of only three finalists to make the cut for the North American Truck/Utility of the Year (NACTOY) award.
The NACTOY award is unique, because instead of coming from a single media outlet, it is awarded by an group of 53 independent journalists from the United States and Canada. The award is designed to recognize the best new truck/SUV of the year, based on factors such as innovation, driver satisfaction, performance, handling, and over all value.
“The all-new XC90 represents the future of Volvo,” said Lex Kerssemakers, president and CEO, Volvo Cars of North America. “We are grateful that NACTOY judges recognize how significant it is for consumers, the industry, and for us.”
