Volvo Makes Rear-Facing Seats Accessible for Older Children

When is it safe to flip your child's car seat from the rear-facing position to forward-facing?

The NHTSA recommends waiting as long as possible to switch to a front-facing seat. "Your child should remain in a rear-facing car seat until he or she reaches the top height or weight limit allowed by your car seat's manufacturer," says the agency's official website.
