We've brought you many stories lately about how Volvo is moving forward in the realms of powertrains, architecture, and design. Now, we're finally seeing all of that melded together in the brand's first next-generation vehicle, the 2015 XC90. It was unveiled last week in Sweden, and there are no shortage of details.

We'll save our overview of its design and let the video speak for itself, and focus instead on the insides. The new XC90 will come with an all-new cabin, complete with luxury furnishings and the new CarPlay interface. Under the hood, a 2.0L turbocharged mill with 316 horsepower will sit front and center, with the option of a 400-pony plug-in hybrid mill.
