That new model is the V40, and it is a precisely engineered, sporty new four-door hatchback model. Like all Volvo options, it is incredibly safe, and luxuriously appointed, but where this model starts to set itself apart is with its performance specs. Both the suspension and steering systems on this model are custom engineered for it, and the power is provided by the revolutionary new Drive-E engine system, which employs a four-cylinder engine to produce power similar to a six or eight-cylinder one.
