What is the California Clean Fuel Reward?
In an effort to cut down on the amount of pollution in the California sky, the state is offering a reward if you buy an electric vehicle. The California Clean Fuel Reward offers up to $1,500 off the purchase price of your new electric vehicle. The reward is offered to anyone who purchases an electric vehicle from a participating retailer with a battery capacity greater than 5 kWh. The vehicle must register the vehicle in California and live in California.
This reward is a sliding scale depending on the vehicle, but most Volvo vehicles get $1,133.40 - $1,500 off. Be sure to tell your salesperson that you want this reward, and we will take care of the rest.
