If you're a true Volvo enthusiast like us here at Smothers European Volvo, then you've likely read about the Volvo S60 Polestar. If you haven't heard about the S60 Polestar, the luxury sedan has been getting rave reviews amongst automotive publications and most recently, the folks at Motor Trend got behind the wheel and took it for a spin.
Testers for Motor Trend were able to take a lap around the famous Laguna Seca race course in California to push the Volvo S60 Polestar to its limits. The end result was a time of 1 minute 40.8 seconds. That's better than many of the other, higher priced competitors it was up against, and also a testament to the Volvo parts under the hood. The inline six cylinder pumps out an impressive 508 horsepower, which is 60 less than some if the competing models.
Other notable features that Motor Trend took notice of was the agile steering that was responsive at high speeds and the Oehlin shocks that offered a smooth, comfortable ride.
